    Indian cricket legend Sunil Gavaskar has praised KL Rahul’s unbeaten 75 off 91 deliveries that led to India’s win over Australia in the first ODI on March 17. Along with Ravindra Jadeja, Rahul took India home with an unbroken 108-run sixth-wicket partnership. During a post-match conversation, Gavaskar highlighted Rahul’s maturity, stating that he had repaid the team management’s faith in him. Sanjay Bangar, the team’s former batting coach, agreed, adding that Rahul’s ability to bat at multiple positions and play shots all around the park makes him a strong case for India’s middle-order in the World Cup.
